"Art history is only intimidating until someone tells you the right story. That's what I do."

About
Hugo Loyon is a private art historian and certified National Guide based in Paris, specialising in bespoke experiences for discerning visitors. He works in two modes: themed tours that weave narrative threads through a museum's collection, and open-ended walks where the conversation shapes the itinerary. There are no scripts, no crowds, no standard routes — only the art, the stories it holds, and the dialogue between guide and guest.
What drives Hugo is a conviction that great works of art should never feel remote or academic. His aim is to make each painting, sculpture, and monument accessible and alive — to bring art into dialogue with our contemporary gaze and help every visitor discover a personal, lasting enrichment that extends well beyond the museum walls.

"What do you see?" asks my cicerone, Hugo Loyon… "Probably not just a naked lady," I say, sensing intellectual ambush. "Oui," he purrs. "It's an idea."
